Permanent right, renewable card and residence duties: The current Gov.cy guidance distinguishes the unlimited adult residence right from a card renewed after ten years. Applicants living abroad must acquire residence in Cyprus within one year of approval. Permanent residence abroad or two years absent ends the permit.
