Selected claims checked 2026-10-25

# From research leads to official evidence

Claim-level programme changes and follow-up evidence, each with its own source date and limits.

Selected claims checked on 22–25 October 2026 against official publications. Each source and claim retains its own check date; the base inventory and unrelated dates are unchanged.

## What was reviewed

IMI member tools were used to discover questions and original sources: the Catalog investment view, processing-chart methodology, country-filtered Data Center results, October Market Pulse, property tools and directory roles. This is a review of material relevant to our investment-route scope, not a field audit of all 645 charts or every naturalisation route.

Catalogue labels are research inputs rather than evidence of an operating programme. Public profiles retain the legal outcome, source date and scope supported by their cited documents.

We do not reproduce paid survey tables, property rankings, proprietary scores, private community discussions or confidential briefings. Unsupported offers and unanswered investigative questions are kept outside the public dataset.

## 23 October follow-up

The follow-up verifies Latvian closures, the Hungarian consultation draft, UK legacy deadlines, Cyprus monitoring guidance, EU visa-risk rules, the ended U.S. immigrant-visa pause and additional Argentina evidence. Retrieval and enactment limits remain explicit. Alternative-source review found the current Gov.cy investor-permit policy/forms and São Tomé’s dated reporting commitment; neither confirms the held audit or first-year statistics.

## Use the right clock

The Saint Lucia FAQ’s 90 days is an authority guideline from accepted processing to citizenship grant, not observed current performance or passport delivery. IMI’s practitioner methodology samples recently completed cases. Official targets and completed-case observations cannot be combined into a delivery guarantee.

Scheduled rules retain their effective dates: the EB-5 fee rule begins 30 November 2026; New Zealand’s investment option is announced for December; Malta’s separate tax rules commence 1 January 2027. Government plans and announced targets are labelled separately from operative law and completed grants.

## Observed comparison data

The comparison also uses selected IMI Q2 2026 provider observations for nine citizenship programmes and two residence programmes and separately attributed Passport Index category snapshots for twelve ordinary national passports. These are empirical and publisher sources, not government targets or entry guarantees. The sources retain their reporting periods and check dates.
