# About CBI.me

CBI.me compares publicly documented economic citizenship and selected investor-residence programmes. It helps readers check costs, legal outcomes and conditions against their sources.

## How facts are checked

Legislation, programme offices, official consular guidance and institutional reports come first. Secondary reports and operator claims are identified. A checked date means the cited material was reviewed; it does not mean the authority updated every sentence that day.

## What is included

Direct citizenship, special economic or merit routes, announced programmes, historical schemes and selected residence comparators. Noncitizen special-passport references have their own document pages and never count as citizenship programmes. Birth, ancestry, marriage and ordinary naturalisation are outside this inventory. Missing charges remain unknown. The country directory has 250 geographic entries; immigration-route research is selected and incomplete. No profile does not establish that no route exists. This snapshot is not automatically refreshed.

## Who decides an application?

The relevant authorities decide eligibility and approval. The tables are research comparisons, not offers or personalised legal advice. A qualifying amount never guarantees citizenship. Professional advice may be needed for a specific applicant.

## Editorial accountability

CBI.me publishes this research collection. It is not a government programme office and does not approve applications. Research is attributed to the CBI.me Research Desk. AI assistance supports source discovery, comparison and presentation. The byline is an editorial desk, not a claim of individual legal accreditation. Primary-source links, dates and limitations allow readers to inspect the basis of each claim. Source reviews are not legal certifications or customer ratings.

The default order follows published base amounts grouped by currency. It is not a quality ranking. No programme is labelled best overall; suitability depends on the applicant. There is no application checkout or referral form in this comparison.

## Corrections and changes

Use the profile’s primary source and effective date when checking a discrepancy. Submit a disputed claim with its official evidence through the [correction form](https://cbi.me/corrections/). Reports are saved for review; receipt does not establish that a claim is correct or promise a response time. The [public content review](https://cbi.me/research/) records material corrections and their source basis. Each source exposes the claim it supports and any retrieval limitations. Family calculations show their household assumptions. Programme closure, legacy processing, announced opening and an operating application route are separate states.
